2 cheap DIY deep conditioning hair masques
Hello loves,
Happy New Year guys… hope you are all well. I want to say a new welcome to our new readers! You can subscribe to the blog (see the right hand side of your post… there is a subscription space). Also, I would really appreciate if you liked the Facebook page and followed my twitter handle. I need all the support I can get. Anyway so while we recover from the Holiday financial effects, I’m here to help you knock off some of the extra hair budget, so that you can keep your hair healthy even during these trying times.
One of the best and most beneficial saves you can make is switching to your pantry for a deep conditioner... If I tell you that this recipes may actually feel better and moisturising on your hair than a store bought deep conditioner you may think that I’m lying. Well, the surest way to find out is to actually try. So here they are:
OLIVE OIL + HONEY HAIR MASQUE
This is the laziest of all deep conditions you could ever make but leaves your hair feeling absolutely awesome.
You need:
Olive oil approximately 1/8 cup
Organic raw honey (almost the same amount)
You will:
Mix them in a bowl and apply to your hair in sections. You may opt to warm this mixture but it is totally up to you.
Let it sit on your hair for 15-30 minutes
AVOCADO + BANANA HAIR MASQUE
This is a very popular recipe only that I chose to omit eggs because the smell of eggs is nauseating to me. I just can’t. I substitute egg with mayonnaise though, but my main aim is to get the moisturising rather than protein benefits.
You need:
A medium sized avocado
A banana
A humectant (glycerine or honey will be fine) 1- 2 tablespoonful
Mayonnaise 4 Tbsp
Oil of your choice 1-2 Tbsp
A blender
You will:
Peel and chop the avocado and banana
Put all the ingredients in a blender
Blend to Smoothie consistency.
Apply on your hair thoroughly coating your strands
Remember to don a plastic cap after you apply the deep conditioning treatment for added health of your hair.
Have you tried this before? How was it?
Love and love
Nyake.
